This is the first time I've heard of bionic reading. I've got ADHD, and I found that speed reading helped me get through all the reading I had to do for my English degree. Later, I learned photoreading, which gave me even better results. I appreciate you sharing the tools to make it easier to test drive it and see if bionic reading might be another tool to support my neuro-spicy brain. 👍🏽

I've tried this and it does not work for me unfortunately. The bolded letters make my brain feel like there should be a metric emphasis on the bolded word or syllable, which "sounds" very weird in my head. It's like the bold letters are capitalized or "louder" and it creates a weird cadence in my head when I read.

It’s not a one size fits all and magic cure, but it works for many.

Some like reading walls of text and I guess it’s a more peaceful way to read.

Bionic reading for me, gives rhythm, so I can focus on the essentials and get what is written. It gives me external impulses to keep reading. Like an external alarm clock that keeps you awake everytime you sway and lose focus.

It’s like you say, it creates a cadence in your head.

It pulls my focus every time back to the page and text.
