Very familiar with the guilt and shame when I don’t complete my 47 task list. Thank you for the advice and tips. Really helps 🙏

Alas, I already use all the Time Blindness strategies, but none of them change my struggle with transitions, so the alarm goes off, and I go back to hyperfocus, or I see the analogue clock and yet the rush does not kick in to motivate me.

After I got deeply burned out, I did learn how to do nothing all day without guilt though, and then how to rest fully while doing nothing or wandering about the house.

Once I got good at that, I began to figure out how I actually can precieve time with light cues and that if I slow down enough and ask myself what I REALLY want to do right now, the real answer will bubble up from my depths and be easy to fall into and complete.

It's also very much about intention and clarity.

Knowing what you want to do, why, where, how, with who, helps.

When you've figured it out and visualised it, put it on the calender and add some spare time, so you can get it done. Because sure enougth, you'll be distracted by that squirrel running in your garden.

So interesting, thank you. Even before I was diagnosed I had somehow figured out some of these tactics. Giving myself time slots helped so much though I didn't really know why. And 'appointments' to show up to. Like parkrun is always 9am on a Saturday morning- an anchor and way to begin the day.
